Our internship program is the first of its kind. It is designed as a platform for emerging artists to learn and work with established artists, advance in their discipline, and their professional practices. We create connections for our interns in the art community and provide the tools and knowledge for a sustainable practice.

Parameters to be considered when applying:

The program requires a three-month commitment. The intern dedicates fifteen (15) hours a week assisting the mentor and the mentee will receive two (hours) a week of mentorship.

The requirements to apply are the following:



You must be a woman artist from or working in Panama

Provide eight images of your latest work (made in the last two years)


Write a statement of intent (motivations, goals to achieve in the program.)(max. 300 words)


Write a brief artist statement or artistic goals. (max. 300 words)


Send a list with the top three artists you would like to work with, in order of preference.

Write a short statement describing which artist from PFAC you would like to work with and why? How would working with her would benefit your practice?(max. 500 words)
